Career Plan
Five Year Plan
Within the next five years, I want to work as a data analyst in which my ability to gather information to analyze trends and solve problems will be useful for the organization to make decisions. My favorite type of data analysis is analyzing business, financial, marketing, or sports data.
I am going to complete my majors in Economics and Sports Management at Rutgers University until May 2027. During my study period in the university, I am going to develop further my abilities to work with Microsoft Excel, data analysis, data visualization, and other programs relevant to my major. In addition to it, I want to complete all the necessary projects to demonstrate my skills to analyze information and reveal the main trends and provide the interpretation of results.
After graduation from the university, I want to apply for entry-level positions and internships in business analysis, operations, finance, marketing, and sports. The job position is not necessarily Data Analyst; any position working with data is also acceptable for me. In addition to it, I want to network more through Rutgers University, LinkedIn, professors, colleagues, and different events in the industry.
Five-year period is the perfect chance to build my resume and portfolio. I am going to learn how to use data to find answers to certain questions, show results of analysis and suggest solutions. This goal seems to be realistic and reachable within five years.
10 Year Plan
Invest
For the next ten years I plan to consistently invest part of my income and to create long term financial security. I want to learn more about retirement accounts, stocks, index funds, and other responsible options before I make any major decisions. Starting early and contributing regularly will allow me to take advantage of long term growth while preparing for future expenses and unforeseen situations.
Build a Family
In the next ten years, my ambition is to foster an atmosphere where my family and I can enjoy a healthy relationship, as well as a life full of joy while making sure that my career is on track. My goal is to establish a certain degree of financial and emotional security so that I can give my family members a place where they will feel safe and I will be there during those important times.
Multiple Sources of Income
In ten years, I intend to earn from multiple sources of income and not just depend upon one single source of income. Other than my main profession, I want to try my hands at investments, property, a business venture, or anything else that suits me. Earning additional income will require lots of patience, research, and planning, but the results can be very rewarding for my family.
